Special clinics have their own days. For example, the pulmonary medicine page lists an ILD and PH clinic on Tuesday from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, and the obstetrics page lists a Prenatal Diagnostic Clinic on Monday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Physiotherapy, orthotics, prosthetics and occupational therapy under PMR keep separate times.

- Try another browser or a phone if the page will not load, and check that your mobile number and email are correct.
- Use “Forgot Password” if login fails.

- Check the department’s days on the official OPD schedule, because a date the portal rejects may simply not be an OPD day.

Emergency care: do not wait for a JIPMER appointment
An appointment is for planned OPD care. The hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine and Trauma, on the ground floor of the Emergency Medical Services Block, works 24/7 with X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, ECG and point-of-care biochemistry. JIPMER states it handles over 400 patients daily.
Patients are sorted by urgency. The Contact Us page describes a red zone for life-threatening cases treated immediately, a yellow zone for urgent but stable cases seen within 30 to 60 minutes, and a green zone for non-critical cases seen within 1 to 4 hours. The page notes the 24/7 emergency contact is for patient referral only. In an emergency, call the numbers in the table above or your local emergency services.
The same page lists three basic life support and two advanced life support ambulances. Free ambulance service up to 50 km one way is for JIPMER staff, dependents, students and pensioners, while destitute or unknown patients are considered individually. A Poison Information Centre is also listed on the Contact Us page.
Fraud warning before you book
The JIPMER home page carries a banner that says “Beware of fraudsters” and warns about fake advertisements in the name of JIPMER. Book only on ors.jipmer.edu.in, reached from the official jipmer.edu.in site. Never pay an agent or a stranger for a slot, and do not share your OTP with anyone.
