Write for Us: Guest Articles from Doctors and Clinics

govhospitals.com helps patients find their way around India’s government hospitals: OPD timings, doctor lists, rate lists and booking. We welcome guest articles from registered doctors, clinics, diagnostic centres and pharmacists, especially those near the hospitals we cover. The articles should help patients before or after a hospital visit.

What we publish

  • Practical patient guides: preparing for a test or procedure, aftercare at home, what to bring to an OPD, managing a long-term condition between hospital visits.
  • Local guides near a government hospital: pharmacies, diagnostic centres, follow-up care, stays for patients’ families. These must be factual, with no ranking of your own business as “best”.
  • Explainers on government schemes that patients ask about, such as Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, CGHS and state health schemes. Every claim must be sourced to the official scheme website.

Rules for health articles

  • Named author with credentials. Give the author’s full name, qualification and medical council registration number. We check them. We do not publish anonymous health advice.
  • Sources. Back medical facts with guidelines, government sources or peer-reviewed research, and link to them.
  • No cure claims and no guaranteed results. No prices that we cannot verify, and no comparisons that run down a named hospital or doctor.
  • Original work only. No AI-generated text submitted as your own, and nothing published elsewhere.
  • Length: 800 to 1,500 words, written for patients rather than doctors. English or Hindi.
  • You get an author bio with one link to your clinic or practice website.
  • Links to your own business are marked rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow", as Google requires.
  • If a placement is paid, the article is labelled “Sponsored”.
  • We may edit for accuracy, clarity and our style, and we may refuse any article. We tell you what we changed before publishing.
