The Jan Aushadhi nebulizer machine costs ₹750. PMBJP’s official Product & MRP List, read on 15 October 2026, lists it as “Electrical Nebulizer Machine”, drug code 8136, alongside a replacement mask with tubing at ₹56.25 and a steam vaporizer at ₹234. The cheapest branded compressor nebulizer on Amazon that day was ₹863 and an Omron was ₹1,149. The same list also has the respules (the medicine that goes into the nebulizer cup) at ₹5 to ₹28 each. This guide puts all of it in one place for families of asthma, COPD and bronchiolitis patients who have been told to nebulize at home.

Jan Aushadhi prices are PMBJP’s published MRP on 15 October 2026 (official Product & MRP List); the drug code lets you check any row. Amazon.in prices were read the same day and change often; the links show today’s price. Some links are affiliate links and we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Respules are prescription medicines; use only the one and the dose your doctor has written. For breathlessness that is not settling, go to the nearest emergency.

The Jan Aushadhi nebulizer is ₹113 cheaper than the cheapest branded compressor nebulizer we found and ₹400 cheaper than an Omron. All of these are compressor nebulizers, the type used in hospital wards: louder than mesh nebulizers but cheap to run and suitable for every respule. We have left out the ₹120 to ₹400 “mini mesh” devices on Amazon, which have thin reviews and are not what a doctor usually means by a nebulizer.

Masks and tubing wear out and should be replaced every few months, or sooner if they crack or stay cloudy after cleaning. At ₹56.25 the Jan Aushadhi nebulizer mask is a quarter of the price of a branded kit, though the branded kits include both adult and child masks. The steam vaporizer is a different device: it gives plain steam for a blocked nose and is not a substitute for a nebulizer.

Respule prices at the Jan Aushadhi Kendra

Levosalbutamol 1.25 mg + Budesonide 1 mg respule2 ml₹28.36540

A child prescribed one levosalbutamol-budesonide respule twice a day for five days uses ten respules: ₹253 at these prices, a third of what the Jan Aushadhi nebulizer machine itself costs. Carry the prescription; the Kendra will not sell respules without one.

How to use a Jan Aushadhi nebulizer at home

How to use a Jan Aushadhi nebulizer at home in five steps
Using it at home
  1. Wash your hands and put the machine on a flat surface, plugged in.
  2. Twist open one respule and squeeze all of it into the cup; add saline only if the doctor said so.
  3. Fit the mask over nose and mouth (or use the mouthpiece for adults) and switch on.
  4. Breathe normally, sitting up, until the mist stops, usually 8 to 12 minutes.
  5. Wash the cup and mask in warm soapy water, rinse and air-dry after every use.

If the mist is weak, check that the filter in the machine is clean and the tubing is not kinked. Children who cry through the mask get less medicine; a calm child on a parent’s lap breathing quietly gets the most.

Which nebulizer to buy

  • The Jan Aushadhi nebulizer if a Kendra near you has it: the lowest price, and the respules are on the same counter.
  • Control D or Omron if you want it delivered, or your doctor prefers a known brand.
  • Any compressor model works with every respule; avoid buying on looks.
  • Keep a spare mask: when one cracks at night, you will want the second.

Respiratory medicine and paediatric OPDs at government hospitals see many children on home nebulization; our AIIMS Delhi OPD guide and the PGI appointment guide explain how to get a follow-up. Other Kendra prices are in the Jan Aushadhi medicine price list.
