AIIMS Jammu, officially known as All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Vijaypur, is a top medical research university and hospital in Jammu and Kashmir. Located in Vijaypur, Samba district, AIIMS Jammu was founded after Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone on 3rd February 2019.

AIIMS Jammu OPD Services to Begin from August 1st, 2024
AIIMS Jammu OPD services will officially commence on August 1st, 2024, marking a significant step in providing top-tier healthcare to the region. Patients in Jammu and surrounding areas will benefit from a wide range of specialty and super-specialty services, ensuring comprehensive medical care is accessible to all.
Key Highlights of AIIMS Jammu OPD Services:
Specialty Coverage: AIIMS Jammu OPD will offer services in 20 different specialties and 9 super-specialties. This includes areas such as General Surgery, Pediatrics, Orthopaedics, Psychiatry, and more.
Laboratory and Radiology Services: Alongside consultations, the OPD will also provide a variety of laboratory tests and radiology imaging services to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Walk-in and Referral Patients: For walk-in patients, the AYUSH block will be open for registration from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Referral and online appointment patients should head to the MAIN OPD block, with registration open Monday to Saturday between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
Specialty Clinic Timings: Specialty clinics will be available Monday to Friday, with registration open from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM for specific departments.
Online Appointment Facility: Patients can schedule appointments conveniently via the “AIIMS Jammu Swasthya” App, available for download on the Google Play Store. This feature allows patients to book consultations in advance, minimizing waiting times.

AYUSH Block (Walk-in Patients): Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Saturday, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
